Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how the Acadaca Group - including Acadaca, El Toro Interactive, and Matchpoint - collects, uses, and protects information gathered through our websites and services. By using any Acadaca Group website, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us: your name, email address, company, website, and anything you write when you contact us, submit an inquiry, register for an event, or apply for a job.
Information collected automatically: pages you visit, how you arrived at our site (for example, from a search or an ad), your browser and device type, and your approximate location based on your IP address. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies, described in section 3.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use information to respond to inquiries and applications, communicate about potential or active engagements, understand how our websites are used so we can improve them, protect our forms from spam and abuse, and measure how well our advertising works.
We do not sell your personal information for money. When we run online advertising, sharing information with advertising partners such as Google (for example, to measure which ads lead to inquiries, or to show our ads to people who have visited our sites) may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under some U.S. state privacy laws. You can opt out at any time, as described in section 4.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Strictly necessary: cookies that keep the site working, remember your privacy choices, and protect our forms from bots. These are always on.
Analytics: Google Analytics, which tells us which pages people visit and how they use the site.
Advertising: Google Ads, which measures whether our ads lead to inquiries and may use your visit to show you our ads on other sites.
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we ask for your consent first and do not set analytics or advertising cookies unless you agree. Elsewhere, these cookies are on by default and you can turn them off at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as intended.
4. Your Privacy Choices
Select "Your Privacy Choices" at the bottom of any page to turn analytics or advertising cookies on or off. Turning off advertising opts you out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for advertising. Your choice is saved in your browser for that website, so you may need to set it again on another device, another browser, or after clearing your cookies.
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends it, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale or sharing and keep advertising cookies off.
You can also manage how Google uses information for ads at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
5. Third-Party Services
We work with trusted vendors to run our websites and business, including website hosting and security (Vercel), analytics and advertising (Google), and email. They may process information on our behalf only to provide their services to us. Google's use of information from sites that use its services is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, or as required by law. You may ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact details below.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we are committed to protecting your information.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version, with the date it was last updated, is always posted at this address. Continued use of our websites after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
